The Rubber Ducky

I love to go Nite's place cause there is always good food to eat, whether home cooked or eat out. On one Sunday, she took me to the Rubber Ducky.

I especially liked the way they stuck all the rubber duckies on top of the ceiling. And they have little duckies hidden around nook and crannies throughout the cafe and it's a pleasant surprise when we manage to spot a couple.

The menu is simple, we ordered a smoke salmon crepe and corn fritters with guacamole.

Food's tasty and well proportioned. No, I didn't said that because there is a slice of bacon.

Unfortunately the same can't be said for their service. I think the waiter was not hospitable but Nite said that was probably because I shocked him with my unfriendly answer. He asked if we are ok to sit on the community table which means a big table in the middle and sharing with other patrons. Apparently I give an abrupt NO. He might have thought I was unfriendly, but the reason for that was because it was a tall table with lounge stools. It was not appropriate for someone short like me and Nite. I wanted a normal table. If he is a little bit more observant.....

Seriously...I am really a friendly nice person leh....

I agree that u r a friendly person. People in service line should be observant & understanding. That will encourage customers to come back to their eatery.
